This project for the London Borough of Ealing was for the construction of a new centre in Greenford to bring together occupational therapy, social work teams, and services for adults with learning difficulties, in a combined facility.

The groundworks package was valued at £621k and required careful planning and coordination to eradicate the existing Japanese Knotweed on the site before the main works commenced. Works consisted of:

• Decontamination to remove hydrocarbons and Japanese Knotweed
• Pile and beam foundations
• Storm drainage with large attenuation system
• Foul drainage
• New service connections
• Permeable tarmac car park
• New access road
• Hard landscaping
